Our natural littler learners
Cultivating children into Biblical learners is a process that requires patience, consistency, and a strong foundation in the Word of God. Here are a few steps that can help you in this endeavor:
Start early: The earlier you begin teaching your children about the Bible, the more likely they are to develop a love for it. Even before they can read, you can read Bible stories to them and explain the meanings in simple terms.
Make it a daily habit: Incorporating Bible study into your daily routine can help make it a regular part of your children’s lives. This can be done through family devotions, reading a chapter of the Bible each day, or memorizing scripture together.
Use age-appropriate resources: There are many different resources available for teaching children the Bible, including children’s Bibles, Bible storybooks, and Bible study guides. Use materials that are appropriate for your child’s age and level of understanding.
Encourage questions and discussions: Encourage your children to ask questions about the Bible and to engage in discussions about its teachings. This will help them to better understand the Word of God and to develop a deeper understanding of its teachings.
Lead by example: Your children will learn more about the Bible by observing your own love for it and your commitment to living out its teachings. Show them how the Bible guides your actions and decisions in your daily life.
Pray together: Praying together as a family can strengthen your children’s relationship with God, and help them to better understand the power of prayer in their lives.
Remember that the goal is to help children develop a personal relationship with God through his word, and that this takes time, consistency, and patience. Above all, trust in the Lord and His plan for your children.
This Week from Organe Kids
Think Tank: to cultivate Children into thinking about God. We often teach our kids Bible stories, but we should guide our little thinkers into thinking about the Biblical Messiah and how he is near and available for us. The CM committee is here and available for you and always praying for your growth in your relationship with your children and your relationship with the Lord.
