“Baby’s Eye, Innocent gazes.”
The Struggle for Clarity Amidst Ideological Warfare and the Pursuit of Divine Enlightenment”
Dear Brothers and sisters,
In today’s rapidly changing world, our children are constantly exposed to an array of competing ideologies, ranging from environmental consciousness to gender exploration. As parents and guardians, we must be aware of the impact these ideas have on the minds and hearts of our little ones.
The quest for knowledge and understanding is a natural human inclination. However, we must be cautious of the potential pitfalls associated with placing too much emphasis on our own learning and intellect. The pursuit of self-discovery can sometimes lead to a darkening of our eyes, where we become lost in our own thoughts and beliefs. This darkness does not necessarily indicate a lack of education; rather, it suggests that our sight has become focused solely on our own perceptions and ideas.
In this state of darkness, people often find themselves on a continuous search for guidance and leadership, whether it be from other individuals or ideologies. Unfortunately, this can result in a “blind leading the blind” scenario, where those who are just as lost lead others further into confusion and chaos.
The solution to this dilemma lies in seeking the righteousness of God. By turning to a higher power for guidance, we can find the clarity and light we so desperately crave. Our world is in need of this divine intervention, as it provides us with a beacon of hope amidst the ideological storms that surround us.
21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people. (Exodus 13:21-22)
As we raise our children, we must instill in them the importance of seeking God’s wisdom and guidance. By doing so, we can help them navigate the complex world of conflicting ideas and beliefs with grace, humility, and a strong sense of purpose. Only then can we ensure that their eyes remain clear and focused and that they grow to become responsible, enlightened individuals in an increasingly murky world.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Next month is Easter. On that day, our King, “Jesus,” rose and promised to be with us always. Focus your eye on the King
Sincerely,
Sam
