Travel Safety, Summer Events, and Communication
As we approach the long weekend, are you getting ready to pack? Remember to bring an extra jacket, sunscreen, and device charger, and most importantly, don’t forget to thank the God of the Sabbath. Whether you’re heading to Occidental, CA (P2P Retreat) or somewhere more exotic, let’s prioritize family time and nurture a habit of family worship.
Summer Event Promotion Day
Yesterday, Pastor Caleb and I had a heartful discussion about the thoughts, concerns, and emotions of students transitioning from the Children’s Ministry to our Youth program. Since both Caleb and I have experience serving in elementary school, we have been praying and developing an organic transitional plan. We are currently working out the details and will share the plan with you soon. Stay tuned!
Promotion Day: June 11, 9:30-11:00 AM
Parents Orientation: September 10, Afternoon (Time To Be Announced)
Communication
As members of the CrossPoint family, our main channel for sharing thoughts, upcoming programs, and Children’s Ministry-related information will be the Milpitas Campus digital newsletter, XP/MP. Additionally, we will be using WhatsApp as our secondary communication platform. While reviewing our current WhatsApp channel, I noticed that some individuals may not be part of our campus or even our church. Therefore, I will soon create a sign-up (Google Form) to register current campus members and current Children’s Ministry parents. Stay tuned for further updates.

Cherish Your Family
You are not a member of your family by mistake. Psalm 139:13 declares, “You skillfully formed my innermost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” It is by God’s intentional design that you belong to your family. Even before the creation of the universe, God had plans for you and your family. He purposefully placed your family on this earth. In His wisdom, He has extraordinary purposes for a family that seeks love for one another and embraces His eternal plans.
With His divine knowledge, your heavenly Father understands the challenges and shortcomings within your family. He is familiar with their weaknesses, trials, and temptations. Yet, His heart is filled with a longing to shower you with the grace necessary to love them unconditionally. He desires to use your presence and influence to guide your family back to Him, allowing you to experience the exceptional blessings that come from having God at the center of your family relationships.
Pray for me as I embark on a crazy summer adventure: delivering messages at Camp (this weekend), preaching in English and Youth (the Weekend after), CM promotion (following Sunday), VBS(the Day after promotion day), and ending with a sports camp (two weeks after VBS). I’ll need all the survival prayers I can get!
