在這個紀念日週末，讓我們再思美國的核心價值觀，來紀念為保衛國家而捐軀的勇士。
我們認為以下真理是不言而喻的：人皆生而平等，享有造物主賦予給他們的不可剝奪的權利，包括生命、自由和追求幸福的權利。
與其他建立在民族身份或帝國基礎上的國家不同，美國建基在一個公理之上，就是個人在敬畏上主的社會中有天賦的尊嚴。然而，每一代人都必須重新捍衛這公理，因為意念不能捍衛自己，也不是世上所有人都把這個意念看為公理。
作為一種信仰傳統，浸信會是宗教自由的擁護者。我們相信真實的敬虔體現在自由的信心表達。因此，我們充分使用這個國家給予我們的宗教自由，學習，教導，並見證神的話。
圈點六月份的一些活動：
6/2（星期五）晚上7:30，網上粵語聖經講座，由正道神學院的謝挺博士講授雅歌。
6/9（星期五）下午5-7點，真道神學院將舉辦基督教倫理學在線研討會，講員包括莊祖鯤博士，羅秉祥博士與李業基牧師。
6/10（星期六）上午11點，將再次舉辦升學計劃講座，由Flex College Prep的嘉賓主講。
6/11（主日）上午11點，將舉辦每月一次的新人接待會。這也將是兒童事工的升級日。
6/17（星期六），父親節的前一天，在Milpitas歐化中心將有商場佈道，時間是上午10點至中午。
6/26至6/30的一個星期將有兒童的夏季運動營，目前仍有空位，請幫助在朋友和鄰居介紹。

On this Memorial Day, let us honor those who gave their lives to defend this nation by reflecting once again on the core values of the United States of America.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Unlike other nations founded on a common ethnic or imperial identity, the USA is built on certain axioms about the dignity of individual persons in a God-honoring society. Every generation must defend such axioms anew, as ideas cannot defend themselves and not everyone in the world presupposes these ideas as axioms.
As a faith tradition, Baptists have been most committed to religious freedom. We believe that true piety is manifested through free exercise of faith. Hence, we make full use of this freedom by learning God’s Word, teaching others, and living the Word out in practice.
Some activities to highlight for June:
On Friday 6/2, 7:30PM, there will be an online bible seminar on the Song of Songs taught in Cantonese by Dr. Chole Sun of Logos Seminary.
On Friday 6/9, 5-7PM, there will be an online Christian Ethics seminar hosted by Truth Theological Seminary, with Dr. Tsukung Chuang, Dr. Ping-Cheung Lo, and Pastor Gideon Lee participating.
On Saturday 6/10, 11AM, the college planning seminar will be back with a guest speaker from Flex College Prep.
On Sunday 6/11, 11AM, we will host the monthly newcomer reception. It will also be the promotion day for CM.
On Saturday 6/17, the day before Father’s Day, there be another opportunity for shopping mall evangelism at Milpitas Ulferts center 10AM-Noon.
There is a Summer Sports Camp for children during the week of 6/26 to 6/30. Openings are still available. Please help spread the word among your friends and neighbors!
