Rev. Abraham Chiu was the founding pastor of Crosspoint Chinese Church of Silicon Valley and was serving as the President of Chinese Baptist Fellowship of USA and Canada. Rev. Chiu for 2 terms. Rev. Chiu also serves as the Director Consultant of CRRS, USA and SAGOS.Rev. Chiu started his first church in 1984 at the South West suburb of Houston, Texas. In January 1990, Rev. Chiu was called to serve as the Senior Pastor of Chinese Baptist Church of San Jose. Rev. Chiu planted his second church, Crosspoint Chinese Church of Silicon Valley in the city of Milpitas in April 2000. The church was constituted as an independent church in January, 2001 and was the first Chinese church in United States to receive a healthy church award from Purpose Driven International in 2004. Crosspoint Church bought its own building at the end of 2007 and moved in to hold its first worship service on June 21, 2009 after renovation. Rev. Chiu launched a church-wide disciple making campaign in Feb., 2010. One year later, over 200 people had been trained as disciple of Christ. In the same year, Rev. Chiu led his pastoral team and some of his church members to start a second campus in tri-valley area sharing the Good News of Christ and ministering to the community. The Church acquired a property for its Pleasanton Campus in 2014 and moved in to worship after the completion of renovation in September 2016. By the grace of God, Rev. Chiu led the Church to start two more campuses in 2019 in the City of Tracy and South San Francisco Peninsula in March and April.

Rev. Chiu was a graduate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with M.Div. & M.A. degrees. He further earned his Ed.M. from Teacher’s College, Columbia University, New York, and was conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Ministry Degree from Truth Baptist Theological Seminary on June 25, 2022.

Rev. Chiu married to Sarah Sau-Har Yip in 1979 and has two grown sons, Daniel and Matthew. Rev. Chiu stepped down as the Senior Pastor of Crosspoint Church on January 1, 2020, passing the baton to Rev. Ting-Yik Leung to continue the development of the Church.

In 2025, after Rev. Ting-Yik Leung stepped down as Senior Pastor, Pastor Chiu became the interim Senior Pastor.

Pastor Gideon Lee, born 1970 in Hong Kong, was raised in a Christian family and educated in church-affiliated primary and secondary schools. Gideon was baptized at Hong Kong Baptist Church when he was 16. Because his father Rev. Wai Chi Lee served in the Fellowship of Evangelical Students, Gideon had some exposure with campus ministries growing up. In 1989, his family immigrated to the USA. In 1993, he graduated from MIT majoring in computer science. During his college years, Gideon had the opportunity to witness the gospel among students from China. Out of that experience, he felt called to devote himself in gospel ministry. He also met his future wife, Irene, in a bible study group while in college. After he graduated, Gideon worked professionally as a software developer while attending seminary part-time. He helped start a church on the campus of Northeastern University. After getting married in 1997 and receiving his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2000, he continued to serve in the Boston area: pastoring, supporting campus evangelistic ministries, as well as ministering through several denominational and para-church organizations.

Gideon received his Ph.D. in 2021 from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, majoring in worldview and apologetics. Irene has been working as a software developer since she graduated from MIT. She has served at IBM for many years. At church, she has ministered primarily among children. She has also provided technical support for media and web. Irene and Gideon have two children, Karis and Sofus. All four of them are deeply interested in music.

Caleb Hankin was born in Ivory Coast, Africa at a missionary’s home. He accepted Christ when he was 10 and his faith began to grow through Bible study, church fellowship and Christian service. He was trained as a teacher and has a seminary degree on Biblical Studies. Caleb loves to work with children and young people. On top of his teaching career, he has been serving at Child Evangelism Fellowship as mentor and UW Sports MInistry as coach during summer time.

Sam xwas born in Hong Kong and moved to South Bay, California, in the mid-80s. During his youth, he was an eager Church attendee. As a young adult, however, Sam became an outspoken atheist. Then God spoke light into Sam’s life of chaos and void, and everything changed. He experienced life in Silicon Valley before and after the Asian immigration boom. Sam sees himself as a bridge between cultures and communities, and he wants to dedicate his life experience to leading the next generation into knowing king Jesus.

Sam started working for Federal Express the month he turned 18, and then at 30, he said goodbye to the only job he had known and became the oldest student in De Anza College. After attending San Jose State, he dabbled in the technology field. Then, during the housing market crash of 2008, God overhauled his life again for His Kingdom’s purpose, which includes giving Sam a chance to attend Western Seminary. Sam’s favorite things include; eating Mexican food, playing action MMORPGs, watching anime, and playing with his daughter.

Praise the King of Kings. I was baptized at the age of 11, and heard God's calling to dedicate myself to ministry for the first time at the age of 17. In May 2019, I graduated from M.Div (Master of Mission) at the Christian Witness Theological Seminary of Northern California.

I am very grateful to have served as a high school teacher for 7 years, teaching Psychology and Counseling, which shaped me into someone with a simple, lively, and humble heart. The pastoral mentorship of the DeAnna couple from Focus on the Family, along with the guidance and shepherding of Pastor Lu Shen, have led me to commit to marriage and family ministry and campus ministry, willing to be a pipeline of God's grace and blessing.</div> <div>My favorite food is Ma La Tang. I like to travel, drink coffee with people, listen to stories and music, read books, and play ping pong. My husband, Steven, and I have been married since 2004, and we have two boys, Leo and Lemuel. When God's timing comes, we will go to Japan for missions.

I come from Shanghai, China, and made the decision to believe in the Lord in 2002. I was baptized that same year. My faith life led me into a new chapter where my family life and career underwent tremendous transformation. The sweetness of following the Lord cannot be fully expressed in words. Every challenge in life is an experience of God's faithfulness and mighty power, which strengthens my determination to follow the Lord. I consequently developed a strong desire to receive training so that I could serve God and serve people in order to respond to God's wonderful work in my life.

I thank the Lord for the opportunity to begin studying at the SAGOS Institute of Preaching &amp; Bible Exposition in August 2023. After nearly three years of training, God opened the door for my ministry and I came to serve at the Mandarin congregation of Crosspoint Church.

My wife, Wei Xin, completed her seminary training earlier than I did and has given me much help and support in ministry work. My older son is currently studying at university and my younger daughter is preparing to enter university. I thank the Lord for guiding our family's life and work in America. Glory belongs to Him! I deeply desire that God would use me。

I was born in Tangshan, Hebei, and studied and worked in Beijing for over twenty years. In 2005, during a visiting scholar program in the United States, I first encountered the Christian faith and gradually came to know and experience God's grace and love. In 2012, I made a profession of faith, and in 2013 I was baptized, committing my life to following Christ and devoting myself to church ministry and the mission of the gospel.

After coming to faith, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I have consistently devoted myself to Scripture reading and prayer, systematically studying the Bible and continuing to grow in both biblical understanding and Christlike character. Over time, God has revealed gifts of teaching, shepherding, and pastoral care. In order to be better equipped for ministry, I entered Christian Witness Theological Seminary in 2019 for formal theological training. There I experienced significant growth in biblical knowledge, spiritual formation, and ministry practice, and graduated in 2023.

Since beginning my internship at Crosspoint Church in 2021, I have developed a deep burden for evangelism, discipleship, and shepherding God's people, with a particular heart for new believers and family ministry. I firmly believe the church is a spiritual home for believers and a lighthouse that bears witness to Christ's love to the community and the world. I am committed to shepherding God's flock, teaching the truth, and equipping the saints with humility, faithfulness, and obedience, so that God's people may be built up, grow in unity in Christ, and give glory to the one true God.

I have two sons, both adults, and my husband works as an engineer in the technology industry

Caleb was born and raised in a Christian family. He was baptized at the age of 15. He received his Master of Divinity at Gateway Seminary. During COVID, God placed a burden in his heart not to be complacent with “the lifestyle of Babylon” but challenged him to take part in “rebuilding God’s temple in Jerusalem.” This formed the basis of his calling to ministry. Caleb has a heart for the next generation. He desires to help them understand and apply the Bible with confidence, ask hard questions, and stand firm in their faith in the fallen world.

Prior to entering full-time ministry, Caleb was a California licensed attorney and has been practicing law for more than a decade, prosecuting domestic violence perpetrators and protecting victims of abuse. Through his extensive experience of handling various legal issues faced by ordinary families, God has prepared him to serve in marriage and family ministry. Since 2017, Caleb and his wife Dorothy have been serving as marriage enrichment retreat instructors with Chinese Family For Christ USA, a parachurch organization that emphasizes the sanctity of marriage. The couple and their daughter are musically inclined. In their free time, they enjoy making and singing Christian music together.

David W. Choi is a pastor and youth ministry leader with over a decade of experience serving churches across the Northeast. He holds a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and has worked as an English and Youth Pastor at multiple congregations, including Cherry Hill Chinese Christian Church, Lynbrook Baptist Church, and several Korean churches in the New York area. Throughout his roles, David consistently builds youth programs from the ground up. At Korean Evangelical Church of New York, he grew the youth group from 9 to 29 members and started a basketball outreach that brought 20 community members into the church. He's also launched worship bands, created discipleship programs, and trained volunteer leaders across nearly every position he's held.

David's approach focuses on meeting young people where they are, whether through college campus ministry, basketball programs, or tailored worship services for different age groups. He has a track record of starting new initiatives that stick. His work includes founding college ministries at Rutgers and Princeton starting from zero members, establishing the Friday Fellowship youth program, creating age-specific Sunday school curricula, and developing training systems for volunteers. His stated objective reflects his values: to serve the Body of Christ by living out his faith and enabling the Holy Spirit to work through his ministry. Whether working in established churches or new church plants, David demonstrates skill at connecting with young adults and families while building sustainable programs.
