教會的教牧同工，將於這星期二開始，舉行一連三天的事工策劃退修會。我們除了會檢討各項事工的發展情況，亦會制定 2027年的事工方向和重點。
事實上，我們對教會發展方向已基本達成共識。在下一任主任牧師到任之前，我們將繼續維持一堂多堂點的模式。此外，我們必須加強年輕家庭事工、英語新生代事工和國語事工，使教會的傳承得以延續。
在過去一年多，我作為代理主任牧師，師母和我做了很多維穩和修補的工作。我們多謝弟兄姊妹們的支持和信任，但畢竟我們二人所能做的有限，感謝神為教會增添了全職同工，又為我們選立了八位教會執事，協助牧養和照顧會眾。我覺得現在是時候竭力向前，向著神為「匯點」所設的標竿直跑，這標竿就是要讓我們成為人與神的匯點，讓不同背景、年齡、言語的人因我們認識神、相信神，找到自己人生的目的，並可以活像耶穌。
這條十字架的道路不易走，荊棘滿途，有時還要作出犧牲，有奉獻的精神，但會讓我們經常遇到驚喜，因為有大能的天父與我們同行，有真理的聖靈指引我們當行的路，更有基督的愛激勵我們可以努力不懈。
主內的弟兄姊妹、匯點人，我們意識到天父的同在嗎？我們看見聖靈的指引嗎？我們感受到基督對我們的愛嗎？

代禱事項
- 1. 感謝讚美神，因為祂竟然揀選了我們成為祂與其他人匯聚的管道。求神繼續裝備我們成為人與神的交匯點。
- 2. 為下主日Milpitas青少年的露營活動祈禱。求神保守參加者，並讓他們在整個活動中能加強彼此的關係和追求認識神的心。
- 3. 為這個週末一連串有關在人工智能世代教養子女的專題講座代禱。求神藉此幫助我們的父母和長輩更了解子女們所面對的挑戰和困惑，更懂得如何教養他們。
- 4. 為教牧同工們的策劃退修會祈禱。求聖靈親自帶領他們作出檢討、評估，並能制定明年事工的大方向和發展策略。
- 5. 為各堂會裡面對生活挑戰和身體有疾病的弟兄姊妹代禱。求神賜平安並減輕他們的痛苦，並讓他們在生活的磨練中經歷神的看顧和保守。
From the Heart of a Shepherd
The church’s pastoral staff will hold a three-day ministry planning retreat starting this Tuesday. We will review the progress of our ministries and formulate the ministry direction and priorities for 2027.
In fact, we already have a basic consensus on the direction of church development. We will maintain the one-church, multiple-campus model until the next senior pastor comes on board. Besides, we must strengthen our young families, English next-generation ministry, and Mandarin ministry so that the church’s legacy may continue.
Over the past year, as acting senior pastor, my wife and I have done a great deal of work in maintaining stability and repairing the church. We thank our brothers and sisters for their support and trust, but what we can do is limited. We thank God for adding full-time staff to the church and for selecting eight deacons to assist in pastoral care. I feel it is time to strive moving forward, running straight toward the goal God has set for “Crosspoint”— that is for us to become a meeting point between people and God, so that people of different backgrounds, ages, and languages may come to know God through us, find their purpose in life, and live like Jesus.
This path of the cross is not easy; it is full of thorns and sometimes requires sacrifice. Yet, it often brings us the joy of surprises because our mighty Heavenly Father walks with us, the Holy Spirit of truth guides us on our path, and the love of Christ motivates us to persevere.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, members of Crosspoint, are we aware of the Father’s presence? Do we see the guidance of the Holy Spirit? Do we feel Christ’s love for us?

Prayer Requests
- Praise be to God that He has chosen us to be channels through which He connects with others. May God continue to equip us to be a Crosspoint between man and God.
- Pray for the Milpitas youth camping trip next Sunday. May God protect the participants and help them strengthen their relationships, and pursue to know God more.
- Pray for the upcoming workshops this weekend on raising children in the age of artificial intelligence. May God use these workshops to help our parents and elders better understand the challenges and confusions their children face and how to raise them in a godly way.
- Pray for the pastors’ planning retreat. May the Holy Spirit guide them in reviewing and evaluating the current status of the church, and help them formulate the overall direction and development strategy for 2027.
- Pray for the brothers and sisters in each church campus who are facing life’s challenges or suffering from illness. May God grant them peace and alleviate their pain, and help them experience God’s loving care and protection in the trials of life.
