最近在中國大陸，流行由人工智能製作的現實短劇，有人稱之為「爽劇。」瀏覽它們的標題和畫面，發覺其中一個常見的主題，就是小人得勢，窮人遭人白眼，還被打壓、驅趕，而當窮人熬出頭的時候，就被從前排擠和苦待的人上門認親認戚，要求分一杯羹，若得不到好處，就想盡方法，不惜用卑劣的手段去搞破壞，試圖拆毀別人的名聲和成就。但結局通常像從前的粵語殘片一樣，善有善報，惡有惡報，作奸犯科的人被繩之於法，勢利小人被當面訓斥，承受惡果。令觀看的人解氣，大快人心，覺得好爽。

我認為這些短劇之所以流行，是因為它們反映出時下的社會風氣，虛偽、貪婪、瀆職、霸凌、抹黑、不擇手段以求達到目的等事情舉目皆是，甚至對自己家人也是一樣，令人感到窒息、氣餒和絕望。但公道自在人心，邪不能勝正，不公不義的事情被曝光，至終惡人被剪除，帶給人點點盼望。

事實上，我們是生活在一個不公不義的世代裡，到處都有惡人作惡，行欺詐、誹謗、捏造謊言，做出不公不義害人之事。而最令我們基督徒感到難過的，是在教會裡也時有類似的惡行被發現，讓神的名字蒙羞，也讓我們稍有良知的人心懷不平。

我不知道大衛是在甚麼時候寫作詩篇 37篇。這是一首字母詩，每一個字母有兩節經文，裡面反映出大衛的屬靈智慧和對上帝的認識。這首詩帶給那些被惡人不公苦待的人有盼望，並有堅守真理力量。以下是詩篇第37篇，一至八節的經文。

1 不要為作惡的心懷不平，
也不要嫉妒那行不義的人。
2 因為他們如草快被割下，
又如綠色的嫩草快要枯乾。

3 你當倚靠耶和華而行善，
安居地上，以他的信實為糧；
4 又當以耶和華為樂，
他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。

5 當將你的道路交託耶和華，
並倚靠他，他就必成全。
6 他要使你的公義如光發出，
使你的公平明如正午。

7 你當安心倚靠耶和華，耐性等候他，
不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。

8 當止住怒氣，離棄憤怒；
不要心懷不平，以致作惡。
9 因為作惡的必被剪除；
惟有等候耶和華的必承受土地。

10 還有片時，惡人要歸於無有；
你就是細察他的住處，也不存在。
11 但謙卑的人必承受土地，
以豐盛的平安為樂。

這條背十字架的道路不易走，荊棘滿途，有時還要作出犧牲，有奉獻的精神，，卻會讓我們經常遇到驚喜，因為有大能的天父與我們同行，有真理的聖靈指引我們當行的路，更有基督的愛激勵我們可以努力不懈。

主內的弟兄姊妹、匯點人，我們意識到天父的同在嗎？我們看見聖靈的指引嗎？我們感受到基督對我們的愛嗎？

• 1. 感謝讚美神，讓我們認識並相信上帝，讓我們無論落在甚麼境況之中，都有一個可以完全投靠的靠山，使我們可以面對一切和克服一切。
• 2. 求神讓我們能倚靠神而行善，不從惡人的計謀，不與罪人走同一條路，更不要與褻慢神的人同桌相交。
• 3. 為教牧同工能忠於聖經教導，按聖經真理帶領和牧養教會祈禱。求神保守他們身體心靈的健康，可以靠主抵擋魔鬼的攻擊，並且得勝，事主得力。
• 4. 為這個週末李壁琦姊妹的見證分享音樂會祈禱。求神使用她和眾弟兄姊妹，引領更多人認識並相信基督。
• 5. 為教會各堂會正開始物色明年的義工團隊祈禱。求神親自指引和預備，讓更多弟兄姊妹能回應呼召，同心協力推展教會的事工，讓更多人蒙福。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

Recently in mainland China, short video dramas produced by artificial intelligence have become popular. They were referred to as “cool dramas.” After browsing their titles and front pages, I noticed one of the popular themes is: the wicked gain power, the poor are scorned, suppressed, and driven away. When the poor finally succeed, those who formerly ostracized and mistreated them come knocking, demanding a share. If they don’t get what they want, they resort to all sorts of despicable means to sabotage and destroy their reputation and achievements. But the ending is usually like those old Cantonese movies: good is rewarded and evil is punished; the criminals are brought to justice, and the opportunistic are publicly reprimanded and punished. This provides viewers with a sense of catharsis, satisfaction, and exhilaration.

I believe these short video dramas are popular because they reflect the current social climate. Hypocrisy, greed, corruption, bullying, slander, and the unscrupulous pursuit of goals are rampant, even among family members, leaving viewers feeling suffocated, discouraged, and hopeless. But justice resides in the hearts of the people; evil cannot prevail over good. When injustice is exposed, the wicked are ultimately eliminated, bringing a glimmer of hope.

In fact, we are living in an unjust immoral age. We find wicked people everywhere. They do evil things, deceive, slander, fabricate lies, and do unjust and harmful things to people. What saddens us Christians most is that similar evil deeds are discovered within the church, bringing shame to God’s name and causing indignation in those of us with a conscience.

I don’t know when David wrote Psalm 37. It’s an alphabetic psalm, with two verses for each letter, reflecting David’s spiritual wisdom and knowledge of God. This psalm brings hope to those who are unjustly mistreated by the wicked and gives them the strength to uphold the truth.

1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! 2 For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. 6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! 8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. (Psalms 37:1-8)

Prayer Requests

• 1. Praise be to God that we know and believe in Him, so that no matter what circumstances we face, we have a reliable support to rely on, enabling us to face and overcome everything.
• 2. Pray that God will enable us to rely on Him to do good, not to follow the schemes of the wicked, not to walk the same path as sinners, and certainly not to associate with those who blaspheme God.
• 3. Pray that our pastors and staff will be faithful to the teachings of the Bible, leading and shepherding the church according to biblical truth. Pray that God will protect their physical and spiritual health, enabling them to resist the attacks of the devil in the Lord, to overcome them, and to serve the Lord with wisdom and strength.
• 4. Pray for Sister Becky Lee’s testimony-sharing concert this weekend. Pray that God will use her and all the brothers and sisters in Christ leading more people to know and believe in Christ.
• 5. Pray that the various congregations of the church have begun to recruit volunteer teams for next year. Pray that God will personally call and prepare more brothers and sisters in Christ to serve so that we may form capable teams to work together to advance the ministry of the church, and bring blessings to many more people.
