牧人心語

我今早在聖靈感動底下，在 Tracy崇拜講完道之後帶領了一個慕道友決志信主。我要感謝讚美神，因祂不單感動我和他分享福音，邀請他決志信主，更因此讓我從新得力，將身心的疲憊一掃而空。

過去這兩三週，我和其他幾位教牧同工，還有從教會外請來的資深牧者，約見了容旭輝和Caleb Hankin傳道，亦約見了一兩位求職的教牧同工。感謝讚美主， Caleb Hankin傳道已通過按牧團的考核，這星期日開始根據會章規定公告全會眾三個星期。如無異議，將與容旭輝傳道一起在十一月九日被按立為牧師。

八月中成立的按立執事籌備委員會和教會會章修訂委員會亦已開始運作，並將會在十月廿六日在Milpitas舉行的諮詢會議中分享進程。時間為下午二時卅分，會議不設直播。按立執事籌備委員將於本星期日在各堂點張貼執事的資格和要求，歡迎弟兄姊妹查閱。

這星期日十二時卅分至三時卅分，在 Milpitas主堂將舉行家庭同樂日，聽說已有四百人報名參加。這是一個接觸社區，邀請新朋友認識教會的好機會。Milpitas主堂的年青人，將擔綱負責各個不同的活動。我們為他們的成長感謝讚美神，他們也需要家長和眾弟兄姊妹的鼓勵和支持。

首次國語音樂佈道會將於十月廿四日星期五晚七點半鐘在Milpitas主堂舉行。幫忙採排的弟兄告訴我，湘海弟兄的音樂會十分專業，內容豐富並多元化，請把握機會邀請親友、同事出席參加。

我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裡完完全全地引到神面前。（歌羅西書 1: 28）和合

• 讚美感謝神，因祂仍要使用我們教會去傳福音，領中歸主，把社區裡的人引帶到神面前，讓他們有機會聽信天國的福音。
• 感謝神讚美神對容旭輝傳道和Caleb Hankin傳道的呼召。求神藉著按牧典禮鼓勵他們更努力去完成他們的召命，幫助更多人信主並成为耶穌基督的門徒。
• 為這星期日在Milpitas主堂舉行的家庭同樂日祈禱。求神加力並保守負責的弟兄姊妹和年曇人，讓他們有平安和事奉神的喜樂；又讓我們能藉此吸引更多人到教會中。
• 為 2026年的義工選舉祈禱。求神幫助各教牧同工帶領和堂點的領袖提名合適人選，參與和推動明年各個教會事工。
• 為首次舉辦的聯合國語/普通話音樂佈道會祈禱。求神使用這聚會吸引更多說普通話/國語的朋友到教會來聽音樂和認識神在人生命中的工作。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

This morning, moved by the Holy Spirit, I led a seeker to make a decision to accept Christ as his Savior after Tracy’s worship service. I want to thank and praise God, for He not only moved me to share the gospel with him and invite him to make a decision for Christ, He also renewed my strength, and swept away my physical and mental fatigue.

Over the previous weeks, I, along with other pastoral staff members, and a few senior pastors we brought in, have met with Pastors Sam Yung and Caleb Hankin, as well as one or two other ministers seeking employment. Thankfully, Pastor Caleb Hankin has passed the ordination committee’s examination and will be announced to the congregation for three weeks, beginning this Sunday If there are no objections, he will be ordained as a pastor alongside Pastor Sam Yung on November 9th.

The Deacon Ordination Planning Committee and the Church Constitution and Bylaw Revision Committee, established in mid-August, have begun their work and will share their progress at the town hall meeting in Milpitas on October 26th. The meeting will be held at 2:30 PM and will not be livestreamed. The planning committee will post the qualifications and requirements for deacons at each church campus this Sunday. Brothers and sisters are welcome to review them.

This Sunday, a Family Fun Day will be held at the Milpitas Main Campus from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. We have heard that 400 people have already signed up. This is a great opportunity to connect with the community and invite new friends to the church. Young people from the Milpitas Campus will lead various activities. We thank and praise God for their growth, yet they need the encouragement and support of their parents and fellow church members.

The first Mandarin music evangelistic meeting will be held at the Milpitas Main Campus on Friday, October 24th, at 7:30 PM. The staff who helped with the rehearsal told me that Brother Xianghai’s concert is very professional, with rich and diverse content. Please take advantage of this opportunity to invite friends, family, and colleagues to the concert.

The Bible says: We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)

Prayer Requests

• Praise and thank God that He continues to use our church to preach the gospel, lead people to the Church, and bring people to God, giving them the opportunity to hear the gospel of the Kingdom.
• Thank and praise God for His calling of Ministers Sam Yung and Caleb Hankin. Pray that through their ordination, God will encourage them to strive even harder to fulfill their callings, helping more people to believe in the Lord and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
• Pray for the Family Fun Day held at the Milpitas Main Campus this Sunday. Pray that God will strengthen and protect the responsible brothers and sisters and the young people, so that they may find peace and joy in serving God, also we may use this opportunity to attract more people to the church.
• Pray for the 2026 volunteer election. Pray that God will help pastoral staff and church leaders nominate suitable individuals to participate in and promote the various church ministries next year.
• Pray for the first joint Mandarin Music Evangelistic concert. Pray that God will use this concert to attract more Mandarin-speaking friends to come to church to listen to music and learn about God’s work in people’s lives.
