保羅勸勉我們：務要傳道，無論得時不得時，總要專心。即是說無論我們覺得是合適的時候還是不合適的時候，我們都要傳講神的話語和天國的福音。

感謝讚美上帝，星期五晚教會首次舉辦的國語音樂佈道會有 26人決志信主。有一位教會同工告訴師母，我們預備了 26份禮物給決志的新朋友，結果每一份禮物都送出去了，令她感到十分振奮，倦意全消，並將榮耀歸給神。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，天父爸爸是一次又一次地鼓勵我們，祂仍要使用我們，祂會繼續與我們同在，指引我們前面的道路。

這個星期日下午二時卅分，我們將會在Milpitas主堂舉行教會諮詢會議。請關心教會的弟兄姊妹盡量抽空出席參加。

十月卅一日星期五下午五時至晚上八時（不是七時半開始），我們在San Leandro分堂將舉行家庭同樂日，希望能邀請到住在附近的華人家庭來與我們一起享受歡樂時光，並認識我們教會。

教會慶祝成立 25 週年的感恩崇拜暨按立牧師典禮將會在十一月九日下午三時在Milpitas主堂舉行，隨後在半島豪苑海鮮酒樓有感恩晚宴。那個週末在星期六和星期日早上各堂會的敬拜將暫停一次。請大家留意並幫忙提醒其他弟兄姊妹和朋友。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

Paul exhorts us: “Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season.” This means that whether we feel it’s the right time or not the right time, we should preach God’s Word and the gospel of the Heaven.

Thank God that 26 people made decisions for Christ at our first Mandarin music evangelistic concert on Friday night. A church staff member told my wife that we had prepared 26 gifts for the new believers, and every one of them was given away. The number was just right. She was deeply excited, and her fatigue melted away. She gave all the glory to God.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, our Heavenly Father encouraged us time after time that He still wants to use us. He will continue to be with us, guiding our path forward.

This Sunday at 2:30 PM, we will hold a church town hall meeting at our main campus in Milpitas. Brothers and sisters who care about the church, please make time to attend.

On Friday, October 31st, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (NOT 7:30), we will hold a Family Fun Day at our San Leandro campus. We hope to invite nearby Chinese families to enjoy a happy time with us and get to know our church.

The church’s 25th anniversary thanksgiving service and ordination ceremony will be held at 3:00 PM on November 9th at the Milpitas main church, followed by a thanksgiving dinner at Peninsula Garden Seafood Restaurant. There will be no worship services at all campuses on Saturday and Sunday mornings that weekend. Please take note and help remind other brothers and sisters in Christ, and other regular attendees.

Prayer Requests

• Praise God! 26 people made decisions for Christ during the Mandarin Music Evangelistic Concert. Pray that our Heavenly Father will strengthen their faith, allowing them to experience His care and help, and pursue a closer relationship with Him daily.
• Pray for the preparations for the thanksgiving service and dinner to celebrate the church’s 25th anniversary. Pray that God will grant wisdom and strength to the organizers so that all preparations can be completed on time.
• Pray for the Family Fun Day to be held in San Leandro on October 31st. Pray for favorable weather and for more Chinese families living nearby to attend.
• Pray for the pastoral staff who are actively seeking suitable new staff to join the ministry team. Pray that God will send suitable workers to us to serve God alongside the current pastoral team.
• Pray for the recruitment of the volunteer ministry team for next year. Pray that God will call more brothers and sisters in Christ to help develop the church’s ministries.
