牧人心語

這星期三，我和三位國語同工一起開會，檢討音樂佈道會和跟進初信者的工作。我要感謝讚美上帝，因為祂賜給我們教會幾位願意盡心盡意服事祂的教牧同工。他們也為著上週神如何藉著音樂會祝福和建立我們的國語事工而感到興奮。

我們將在下一個主日，十一月九日下午三點鐘，在Milpitas主堂舉行教會成立 25週年的感恩崇拜暨按立牧師典禮。十一月八日在Tracy和十一月九日上午各個分堂的崇拜將會取消，請大家一起回來參加星期日下午的感恩崇拜。會後在半島豪苑酒樓有感恩聚餐，位置有限，於十一月二日截止報名。

回想過去這 25年，實在是百感交集。總括一句，匯點教會是神以大能和無比智慧建立的教會；而我和師母有幸見證她的誕生、成長和轉化。祂偉大和奇妙的作為，經常在我們教會當中顯現。

願你的作為向你僕人顯現；願你的榮耀向他們子孫顯明。（詩篇 90: 6）阿們！阿們！誠心所願！

• 讚美神賜給我們有忠心、願意付出的教牧同工服事教會。求神加添他們智慧和力量，能同心合意為神作大事。
• 為教會慶祝成立 25 週年的感恩崇拜和按牧典禮的籌備工作祈禱。求神讓這些活動成為教會的祝福，讓參與者能見證神的作為，歸榮耀與神。
• 為容旭輝傳道和Caleb Hankin傳道和他們的家庭祈禱。求神讓他們成為教會家庭的榜樣，並大大使用他們拓展我們的兒童、青少年及成人英語事工。
• 為半島分堂和Tracy 分堂正籌組明年的事奉團隊祈禱。求神帶領和感動更多弟兄姊妹起來事奉祈禱。
• 為教會的敬拜隊，特別是國語的敬拜隊祈禱。我們需要更多能帶領讚美敬拜的領袖來帶領各堂點的敬拜讚美時間。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

This Wednesday, I met with three Mandarin-speaking colleagues to review the music evangelistic concert and the follow-up work with new believers. I want to thank and praise God for giving our church ministers who are willing to serve Him wholeheartedly. They were excited about how God blessed and built up our Mandarin ministry through the concert last week.

We will be holding a thanksgiving worship service and pastor ordination ceremony next Sunday, November 9th, at 3:00 PM in Milpitas Main Campus. The worship services at Tracy on November 8th and at various church campuses on the morning of November 9th will be cancelled. Please come back to attend the thanksgiving worship service on Sunday afternoon. There will be a thanksgiving dinner afterward at the Harbor Pearl Peninsula Restaurant; space is limited, and registration closes on November 2nd.

Looking back on these 25 years, I am filled with mixed emotions. In short, Crosspoint Church is a church established by God with great power and unparalleled wisdom; and my wife and I have been fortunate to witness its birth, growth, and transformation. God’s great and wondrous works are constantly manifested in our church.

May your works be shown to your servants, and your glory to their children. (Psalm 90:6) Amen! Amen! Indeed, it is my heart’s desire!

Prayer Requests

• Praise God for the faithful and dedicated ministers and staff He has given us to serve the church. Pray that God will increase their wisdom and strength so that they may work together in harmony to do great things for God.
• Pray for the preparations for the church’s 25th anniversary thanksgiving worship service and ordination ceremony. Pray that God will make these events a blessing to the church, allowing participants to witness God’s work and give glory to Him.
• Pray for Pastors Sam Yung and Caleb Hankin ,and their families. Pray that God will make them role models for church families and greatly utilize their talents to expand our English ministry for children, youth, and adults.
• Pray for the Peninsula and Tracy campuses as they prepare to form their core ministry teams for next year. Pray that God will lead and inspire more brothers and sisters to rise up in church services and prayer.
• Pray for the church’s worship teams, especially the Mandarin worship teams. We need more leaders who can lead praise and worship at each church campus.
