牧人心語

上星期日早上八點鐘，我參加了在Milpitas母堂舉行的靜默祈禱會，粵語崇拜後到半島福音堂參加由Belmont City主辦的農曆新年社區活動。發覺有很多年輕家庭帶同孩子出席該活動，講粵語的也有好幾十人，我深感那裡是個可以收割的屬靈禾場。星期一，我和半島福音堂的核心同工們分析和討論未來發展的路向，獲得共識，並一起為福音堂祈禱，求神預備工人和其它資源。

我和師母在過去幾天到不同堂會開會和參加活動，看見弟兄姊妹把各個堂會佈置得美輪美奐，增添了不少過農曆年的氣氛。我知道在這個週末有很多小組舉行慶祝農曆新年活動，我在此預祝大家新春快樂，恩典滿滿。

我們的青少年人將於二月廿七日，星期五晚在Milpitas母堂舉行分享祈禱會，以英語進行，歡迎各堂會的弟兄姊妹出席參加，聆聽年青人的分享並為教會祈禱。

北加州華人浸信會區聯會將於三月七日星期六早上九時半至三時舉行領袖訓練大會。主題為一團隊，一夢想。希望能幫助各教會的事奉團隊同心服事，建設神的家。請各弟兄姊妹向堂主任查詢詳情，一起報名參加。

• 感謝讚美神的厚恩。祂讓我們在動蕰不安的世代中仍充滿盼望，享受生活的豐盛。
• 為參加冬令退修會的青少年人祈禱。求神在退修會中激發年青人愛神愛人的心，讓他們能被神使用，成為使人蒙福的渠道。
• 為半島福音堂的未來發展祈禱。求神開路，並讓核心同工們能同感一靈，在神的帶領下引領更多當地人士認識神和天國福音。
• 為San Leandro分堂正在籌備開始英語崇拜祈禱。求神加添智慧和人力資源，讓我們能成功拓展下一代的事工。
• 為教牧同工們的身體、心靈和靈性健康祈禱。求神保守他們事奉神的熱忱，並能以基督犧牲的愛牧養會眾。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

Last Sunday morning at 8:00 AM, I attended a silent prayer meeting at the Milpitas main campus. Then, after preaching at the Cantonese worship service, I went to the Peninsula Mission Church for a Lunar New Year community event hosted by the City of Belmont. I noticed many young families with their children attending, and at least dozens of people spoke Cantonese. I felt it was a spiritually fertile ground. On Monday, the core members of the Peninsula Mission Church met at my house and we analyzed and discussed the future direction of the church. We reached a consensus, and prayed together, asking God to prepare workers and other resources to help develop the mission church.

My wife and I visited various church campuses and attended activities over the past few days. We saw brothers and sisters decorating each church campus beautifully, adding to the Lunar New Year a joyful atmosphere. I know many life groups are holding Lunar New Year celebrations this weekend. I wish everyone a happy and blessed Year ahead.

Our youth group will hold a praise and prayer meeting on Friday evening, February 27th, at the Milpitas main campus. It will be conducted in English. Brothers and sisters from all churches are welcome to attend, listen to the young people’s sharing, and pray for the church together.

The Northern California Chinese Baptist Association will hold a leadership training conference on Saturday, March 7th, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The theme is “One Team, One Dream.” The purpose is to help church ministry teams serve together in unity and build up God’s house. Brothers and sisters, please contact your campus pastor for details and register to attend.

Prayer Requests

• We give thanks and praise to God for His abundant grace. He fills us with hope and allows us to enjoy the abundance of life even in turbulent times.
• Pray for the youth attending the winter retreat. May God inspire love for God and man in them, enabling them to be used by God and become channels of God’s blessing.
• Pray for the future development of the Peninsula Mission Church. May God pave the way and enable our core members to be of one spirit, leading more local people to know God and the Gospel of Heaven under His guidance.
• Pray for the San Leandro campus as it prepares to begin English worship services. May God add wisdom and man power so that we can successfully expand our ministry to the next generation.
• Pray for the physical, mental, and spiritual health of our pastoral staff. May God preserve their zeal for serving God and enable them to shepherd the congregation with the sacrificial love of Christ.
