在過去兩週，我分別約見了兩三位傳道人，和他們分享教會的現況和需要，邀請他們考慮加入匯點教會服事。與此同時，我亦和約二十位符合資格被提名的執事候選人聯絡，確認他們是願意接受執事候選人的訓練。我要感謝讚美上帝，因為這些弟兄姊妹都很認真去為被邀請這件事祈禱，然後才做出決定。

這些被邀請的弟兄姊妹不單有事奉的心，更有敬畏上帝、愛主的心，沒有一個覺得自己完全合資格和能夠勝任，但願意聽從主的吩咐，謙卑地學習事奉，和其他弟兄姊妹一起建立教會。他們將於復活節當天開始接受培訓，為期六週。教會的理事會將會在其中邀請部分候選人被提名成為執事候選人，於五月中的會員大會中由會員投票確立。請大家為他們祈禱。

四月三日受苦節晚上，教會分別在Milpitas, Pleasanton, San Leandro三個堂點舉行特別崇拜，記念耶穌基督的犧牲和所彰顯的大愛，激勵我們在這末世，也願意為主受苦，完成天父交付給我們的任務。請弟兄姊妹預留時間出席參加。

代禱事項

• 1. 感謝讚美神讓一班愛主的弟兄姊妹願意接受執事訓練，考慮被按立成為教會執事。請為他們的心志祈禱，祈求神繼續引領他們的決定。
• 2. 請繼續為中東的戰爭能早日結束祈禱。我們都不願意看到生靈塗炭，但求上帝的旨意成就，為世界帶來更大好處。
• 3. 為受苦節和復活節在各個堂會舉行的記念活動和外展活動代禱。求神讓我們在這個復活節的週末裡，能更深體驗神的愛，並能把這愛傳給別人。
• 4. 為即將於復活節當天受浸的弟兄姊妹代禱。求神繼續模造和帶領他們人生的道路，經歷神的恩典和大愛更多。浸禮將在San Leandro 分堂舉行。英語浸禮則於四月廿六日在Milpitas主堂舉行。
• 5. 為教會繼續物色傳道同工祈禱。祈求神將合適的牧者帶到我們當中，與其他牧者一同牧養和發展教會。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

Over the past two weeks, I met with a few pastors to share the church’s current situation and needs, inviting them to consider joining Crosspoint Church in ministry. At the same time, I have also contacted about twenty qualified deacon candidates to confirm their willingness to undergo deacon candidate training. I thank and praise God that these brothers and sisters in Christ prayed earnestly about being invited before making their decision.

These brothers and sisters not only have a heart for serving at the Church, but also a heart of reverence for God and love for the Lord. None of them feel fully qualified or capable, but they are willing to obey the Lord’s commands, humbly learn to serve, and build the church together with other brothers and sisters. They will begin their six-week training on Easter Sunday. The church council members will invite some of these candidates to be nominated as deacon candidates, and the church members will vote on them at the membership meeting in mid-May. Please pray for them.

On the evening of Good Friday, April 3rd, the church will hold special worship services at three locations: Milpitas, Pleasanton, and San Leandro. These services will help us commemorate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the great love he revealed. I pray that these activities will inspire us to also be willing to suffer for the Lord in these last days and fulfill the tasks entrusted to us by our Heavenly Father. Brothers and sisters are encouraged to make time to attend these activities.

Prayer Requests

• Praise be to God that a group of brothers and sisters who love the Lord have been willing to undergo deacon training and consider being ordained as church deacons. Please pray for their hearts and ask God to continue to guide their decision.
• Please continue to pray for an early end to the war in the Middle East. We all do not wish to see bloodshed, but let us pray for God’s will be done to bring greater good to the world.
• Pray for the commemorative and outreach activities to be held in various church campuses for Good Friday and Easter. Ask God to help us experience God’s love more deeply this Easter weekend and to share that love with others.
• Pray for the brothers and sisters who will be baptized on Easter Sunday. Ask God to continue to mold and guide them on their life’s path, so that they may experience more of God’s grace and love. The baptism will be held at the San Leandro Campus. The English baptism will be held on April 26th at the Milpitas main campus.
• Pray for the continue search for pastoral staff. Let us pray that God will bring suitable ones to us so that they may help shepherd and develop the church together with other pastors.
