星期五晚舉行的「泥土音樂」幸福音樂佈道會有超過 450人出席，並有 22 人決志信主。反應和結果都超出我們的預期，我們要把一切的榮耀歸給天父上帝，也求神繼續使用「泥土音樂」的音樂事工，引領更多人把心獻給上帝。

我覺得「泥土音樂」的歌曲固然動聽，但最觸動人心的，是他們的生活見證，與他們的音樂，歌詞互相呼應，見證了基督和信仰的真實。

我在Tracy 福音堂剛開始了一個佈道訓練。第一堂，我和他們分享最有效的福音預工，就是每個信徒的生活見證；而最有效的收割方法，就是個人佈道。我給他們培訓的重點，是希望他們每一個人，都成為一個有生命力，有感染力，和有繁殖力的基督徒。

在我們這個世代，帳棚佈道、名人在球場和體育館佈道已經式微。就是有，效果也不如每個信徒都參與佈道那麼好。試想來教會參加主日崇拜的人中，若有一半每年帶領一個人信耶穌，教會的增長就不是一般的5%，而是每年 50%；而我講「帶領一個人信耶穌」的意思，乃是說積極參與帶領一個人信主的工作，比如主動關心這個人，邀請他到家裡用餐，或喝杯咖啡談人生信仰，幫忙他做些瑣事，邀請他到教會參加小組或其它活動等，讓他有更多機會觀察和體驗基督的愛，多了解信耶穌是甚麼一回事，讓他有機會決志信主。

主內的弟兄姊妹，上帝沒有呼召我們做佈道家，卻呼召我們每個相信祂的人做祂的見證人，幫助人認識祂是唯一的上帝、獨一的真神。神透過以賽亞先知對我們說⋯⋯

你們不要恐懼，也不要害怕。我豈不是從上古就告訴並指示你們了嗎？你們是我的見證人！除我以外，豈有上帝呢？誠然沒有磐石，就我所知，一個也沒有！（以賽亞書 44: 8）和修

下個星期日，六月七日，在Milpitas主堂的青少年將舉行短宣籌款義賣。請在Milpitas主堂聚會的弟兄姊妹鼎力支持，讓我們的青少年人籌足經費，完成兩個短期宣教事工。

六月七日下午兩點鐘，在San Leandro分堂將舉行英語 101 課，請各堂會的堂會主任和英語同工，邀請聽懂英語預備受浸和加入教會的弟兄姊妹參加。浸禮將會在六月十四日在San Leandro分堂舉行。

• 1. 感謝讚美神，祂使用我們領人歸主。請大家剛決志信主的 22位弟兄姊妹祈禱。他們有很多是被其他教會的弟兄姊妹邀請來參加音樂佈道會，求神讓他們能分別得到各教會弟兄姊妹的照顧和牧養，靈命日漸成長。
• 2. 為Tracy福音堂事奉團隊的培訓事工祈禱。求神使用招牧師和恩美傳道，裝備這些弟兄姊妹成為有生命力，感染力和繁殖力的門徒。
• 3. 為青少年短宣的籌款活動代禱。求神藉此提醒我們宣教的重要，並讓我們能樂意奉獻，促成這件能造就我們的青少年，把福音帶到仍未廣傳之地。
• 4. 為七月於Pleasanton 分堂舉行的運動日營招生祈禱。求神藉此把更多當地仍未認識耶穌的家庭帶到我們教會當中，讓他們能認識我們教會和救主耶穌。
• 5. 為最近到訪我們各分堂參加崇拜的新朋友代禱。祈求神讓他們有賓至如歸的感覺，那些正在尋找教會或想認識基督信仰的，能考慮以匯點教會作為他們屬靈的家。

From the Heart of a Shepherd

The “Clay Music” Evangelistic Meeting held on Friday evening was attended by over 450 people, with 22 making a decision to believe in the Lord. The response and results exceeded our expectations. We give all glory to God and pray that God will continue to use the “Clay Music” ministry to lead more people to give their hearts to Jesus.

While the songs of “Clay Music” are beautiful, I think that what touches people most is their life testimonies, which resonate with their music and lyrics, witnessing the truthfulness of Christ and our beliefs.

I started an evangelistic training at the Tracy Mission Church. In the first session, I shared with them that the most effective pre-evangelistic work is the life testimonies of each believer; and the most effective method of harvesting is personal evangelism. The focus of my training was to make each one of them become a vibrant, contagious, and multiplying Christian.

In our generation, tent evangelism and celebrity evangelism in stadiums and gyms have declined. Even if they do occur, the effect is not as good as every believer participating in evangelism. Imagine if half of those who attend Sunday worship led one person to Jesus every year; the church’s growth wouldn’t be a mere 5%, but a 50% increase annually. By “leading someone to Jesus,” I mean actively participating in the work of leading someone to Christ. This includes showing concern for them, inviting them to your home for a meal or coffee to discuss life and faith, helping them with chores, inviting them to church small groups or other activities, giving them more opportunities to observe and experience Christ’s love, to understand what it means to believe in Jesus, and ultimately, to make a decision to accept Christ as Savior and Lord.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, God hasn’t called us to be evangelists, but He calls each of us who believe in Him to be His witnesses, helping people to know Him as the one true God. God, through the prophet Isaiah, tells us…

“Do not be afraid or frightened. Have I not told you and revealed this to you from long ago? You are my witnesses! Is there God besides me? Surely there is no Rock, not even one, as far as I know!” (Isaiah 44:8)

Next Sunday, June 7th, the youth at Milpitas Main Campus will hold a short-term mission fundraising sale. We ask for the generous support of brothers and sisters attending services at the Milpitas Main Campus so that our youth can raise sufficient funds to complete two short-term missionary projects.

On June 7th at 2:00 PM, an English Class 101 will be held at the San Leandro campus. Church campus pastors and English-speaking staff from all churches are requested to invite brothers and sisters who understand English and are preparing for baptism or joining the church to attend. Baptism will be held on June 14th at the San Leandro campus.

Prayer Requests

• 1. Praise be to God that He uses us to lead people to the Lord. Please pray for the 22 brothers and sisters who have just decided to believe in the Lord. Many of them were invited by brothers and sisters from other churches to the music evangelistic event. Pray that they will receive care and followup support from brothers and sisters in each church, and that their spiritual lives will grow daily.
• 2. Pray for the training for the Tracy Mission Church core team. Pray that God will use Pastor Chiu and En-mei to equip these brothers and sisters to become vibrant, contagious, and multiplying disciples.
• 3. Pray for the fundraising activity for our youth short-term mission trips. Pray that God will use this activity to remind us of the importance of missions and that we will be willing to give to facilitate this edifying activity for our youth.
• 4. Pray for enrollment of the sports camp to be held at our Pleasanton campus in July. Pray that God will bring more local families who do not yet know Jesus into our church.
• 5. Pray for the new friends who recently visited our various church campuses for worship. Pray that God will make them feel at home, and that those who are looking for a church or want to learn about the Christian faith will consider Crosspoint Church as their spiritual home.
