The moment when Humility meets Grace...

is to simply confess to our Lord, "Dear Jesus, Dear Jesus, I can't do it!"

Jesus’ Loving response...

"I am glad. Now I will."

Mandarin Super Saturday (Sat 9/12)

Stepping Outdoors Together
On September 12, about 30 adults and children joined the Super Saturday outdoor activity at Ed R. Levin County Park. Praise the Lord! Everyone completed the 3-mile trail despite concerns about the heat, distance, and physical stamina. It was an encouraging breakthrough for everyone.

Health & Relationships — More Than Walking
Warm-up exercises highlighted the importance of physical health. Walking in pairs also gave everyone opportunities to share life, challenges, and encouragement.

There was also a heartwarming little moment:

when one child accidentally injured their hand, another took the action to find ice to help treat the injury. This small act showed us how naturally mutual care and concern can arise among children! 🙌

Stillness & Reflection — Experiencing God’s Word in Creation
During a 10-minute time of silence, participants reflected, prayed, and enjoyed nature. One sister’s reflection on Psalm 1:1–3 became especially meaningful as she saw a flourishing tree beside the stream.

Prayer & Response — Growing Closer Together
The activity began and ended with prayer. A young non-believer also volunteered to pray aloud for the first time, a meaningful response that encouraged everyone. Participants expressed interest in future activities.

Super Saturday was more than a hike. It brought together health, relationships, life sharing, God’s Word, and prayer—helping us walk farther together and grow closer to God and one another.✝️
